| Resumen en inglés | The objective of the study was to determine the incidence of the specific material in the learning of the operations of addition and subtraction in the students of third parallel grade "C" of the School of Basic General Education "Alonso de Mercadillo". It was carried out under a mixed quali-quantitative approach of descriptive, non-experimental and statistical type, with the reality of the research problem. Direct observation, interview and diagnostic testing were used; The population consisted of 27 students and one teacher. It was determined that the use of specific materials in practice and during the development of a class are beneficial. It was concluded that the use of specific material in the subject of Mathematics contributes significantly in the learning of addition and subtraction operations, thus developing their creativity and imagination. |
| Resumen en español | El objetivo de estudio fue determinar la incidencia del material concreto en el aprendizaje de las operaciones de suma y resta en los estudiantes de tercer grado paralelo "C" de la Escuela de Educación General Básica "Alonso de Mercadillo". Se realizó bajo un enfoque mixto cuali-cuantitativo de tipo descriptivo, no experimental y estadístico, con la realidad del problema de investigación. Se utilizó la observación directa, la entrevista y la prueba diagnóstica; la población estuvo constituida por 27 alumnos y un docente. Se determinó que la utilización de materiales concretos en la práctica y durante el desarrollo de una clase, resultan beneficiosos. Se concluyó que el uso de material concreto en la asignatura de Matemática contribuye de manera significativa en el aprendizaje de las operaciones de suma y resta, siendo así, que los estudiantes desarrollan su creatividad e imaginación. |
