Resumen en inglés | Surface plasmon resonance (SPR)-based biosensors offer superior analytical features such as simplicity, sensitivity, and specificity when compared to conventional methods in clinical analyses. In addition, they deliver real-time monitoring of label-free analytes with high-throughput approaches requiring little sample pretreatment that allows the analysis of virtually every clinical sample type to determine the amount and/or activity of any molecule of interest. Accordingly, SPR emerges as a novel, efficient, powerful, and relatively low-cost alternative tool for routine clinical analysis, opening also new horizons for developments in personalized medicine applied to diagnostics or therapeutics monitoring |
