| Resumen en inglés | The purpose of the paper is to analyze the behavior of two species, Eremanthus erythropappus and Clethra scabra in steep surfaces as well as their role in the dynamic of ecosystems. The research was carried out in view of weather’s changes associated with eco-perturbations in steep areas. The results, obtained at Morro da Cruz in Nova Friburgo, Rio de Janeiro State, show that changes in the forest have a deep impact on the contiguous urban area, specially in periods of much rain |
