Resumen en español This paper aims to investigate the importance of the financial, humanand social capital of returned migrants on the entrepreneurship decisionof these returnees. For this end we use data from a survey applied toreturned migrants living in urban and rural municipalities of the Stateof Mexico, which were analyzed using descriptive statistics and estimatinga regression regression model. The results show that the maindeterminant of the entrepreneurship of these returnees is the investmentin the construction of houses. Another important determinant is thegender of these returnees.
