| Resumen en inglés | In order to know the species of nematodes present, their population levels and frequency of appearance in bean cultivation, in the province of Las Tunas, samplings were carried out in fields planted in Manatí, Puerto Padre, Jesús Menéndez, Las Tunas and Jobabo, from January 2015 to March 2020. The soil and root samples were analyzed in the Nematology section of the Provincial Plant Health Laboratory by the established procedures. Five species of nematodes were identified with the use of different taxonomic keys: Aphelenchus sp., Meloidogyne incognita (Kofoid and White) Chitwood, Meloidogyne sp., Tylenchus sp., and Xiphinema sp. No cysthogenic, nematodes were observed, nor were they of quarantine interest for Cuba. M. incognita was the species with the highest frequency of appearance in soil and roots and the most abundant. Xiphinema sp., was only identified in the soil of the cultivar Velazco Largo. The cultivar Delicia and Buenaventura was where the greatest diversity of nematode species and the largest populations of M. incognita were observed. |
| Resumen en español | Con el propósito de conocer las especies de nemátodos presentes, sus niveles poblacionales y frecuencia de aparición en el cultivo del frijol, en la provincia Las Tunas, se realizaron muestreos en campos sembrados en Manatí, Puerto Padre, Jesús Menéndez, Las Tunas y Jobabo, desde enero de 2015 hasta marzo de 2020. Las muestras de suelo y raíces se analizaron en la sección de Nematología del Laboratorio Provincial de Sanidad Vegetal por los procedimientos establecidos. Fueron identificadas con el uso de diferentes claves taxonómicas cinco especies de nemátodos: Aphelenchus sp., Meloidogyne incognita (Kofoid y White) Chitwood, Meloidogyne sp., Tylenchus sp. y Xiphinema sp. No se observaron nemátodos cistógenos, ni de interés cuarentenario para Cuba. M. incognita fue la especie con mayor frecuencia de aparición en suelo y raíces y la más abundante. Xiphinema sp., solo fue identificada en suelo del cultivar Velazco Largo. En el cultivar Delicia y Buenaventura fue donde se observó la mayor diversidad de especies de nemátodos y las mayores poblaciones de M. incognita. |
