| Resumen en español | En este artículo se aborda el tema de la preparación de los facilitadores para encarar los retos que impone el desarrollo de su actividad como enlace entre el maestro televisivo del programa de alfabetización cubano "Yo sí puedo" y los participantes. Se exponen algunas consideraciones referentes a los múltiples aspectos positivos del programa cubano, así como sus limitantes relacionadas con el frecuente olvido en las bibliografías sobre el tema, de algunos preceptos esenciales referidos al trabajo del facilitador. De la misma manera en el artículo se refieren las formas de trabajo aplicadas en Haití desde el 2008. ABSTRACTThis article deals with the preparation of the facilitators to face the challenges that imposes the development of their activity as the linking element between the television show teachers of the Cuban program for illiterates "Yes, I Can" and the participants. The bondage of the method is shown, but at the same time, its limitation, regarding to the frequent omission of bibliography about this topic referred to the facilitators´ work about the theme. An algorithm of work, successfully applied in Haiti is offered, a country where this method is being put into practice since 2008.
