| Resumen en español | En este comentario al artículo de Teresa Santiago, "Kant: la guerra y el progreso moral", defenderé que existen dos tipos de cuestiones en el discurso de Kant sobre la guerra. Por un lado, se encuentran las que refieren a la coherencia interna, es decir, sobre cuál es la función y la crítica de la guerra en su sistema de pensamiento y cómo ésta puede ser compatible con su pensamiento moral; por el otro, se encuentran las cuestiones que se refieren a los alcances de su propuesta en nuestros días y en qué medida ésta podría ayudarnos a generar nuevos marcos de normatividad para la promoción de la paz |
| Resumen en inglés | In this commentary to the article "Kant: War and Moral Progress", by Teresa Santiago, I defend that Kant's thought on war presents two types of issues. On one hand, there are those questions that address the internal coherence of war, that is to say, what is the role and critique of war in Kant's thought and how it could be compatible with his Moral Philosophy. On the other hand, there are the issues that refer to the scope of the proposal in present day and to what extent it could help to generate new regulation frames for the advocacy of peace |
