| Resumen en español | La infraestructura institucional en bioética de México, representada en el ámbito federal por la Comisión Nacional de Bioética, en las entidades federativas por las Comisiones Estatales de Bioética, y localmente en los establecimientos de atención médica e investigación por los Comités Hospitalarios de Bioética y los Comités de Ética en Investigación, es considerada un referente global e innovador en el impulso a la materia, debido a su vinculación con instituciones del sector médico, académico, de investigación y grupos de la sociedad civil. En virtud de que las Comisiones Estatales de Bioética representan uno de los elementos estratégicos de dicha infraestructura, este trabajo ofrece un acercamiento a los hechos que motivaron su origen y el proceso de su consolidación, abordando los desafíos que representa su creación, las actividades de vinculación implementadas para el arraigo de la ca en los estados, así como las acciones prospectivas que deberán tomarse en cuenta para favorecer su operación |
| Resumen en inglés | The institutional infrastructure of Bioethics in Mexico which is considered a global and innovative benchmark regarding the impulse to this subject matter and to the link with institutions in the medical, academic, and research sectors, and with civil groups in society. This infrastructure that is represented in the federal area by the National Commission on Bioethics; in the federative entities by the State Bioethics Commissions, and locally, by the medical health care and research establishments within the Hospital Committees on Bioethics, and by the Committees on Research Ethics. By virtue of the State Commissions on Bioethics represent one of the strategic elements of such infrastructure, this work offers an approach to the facts, which motivated their origin, and the process for their consolidation. The foregone by facing the challenges that their creation represents the link activities implementedby the entrenchment of Bioethics in the union states, as well as the foresight actions that should be taken into account in order to favor their operation |
