| Resumen en español | El presente trabajo pretende analizar las Aguafuertes Porteñas como fusión de la actividad periodística y literaria de Roberto Arlt y, también, como el fiel reflejo de los hábitos y las costumbres de los habitantes de la ciudad de Buenos Aires de principios del siglo XX. Para ello, se realizará un recorrido por las principales características de la Buenos Aires del 1900 destacando la utilización del lunfardo, vocabulario sobre el Que debaten diversos autores. Asimismo, se analizará una selección de las Aguafuertes Porteñas a modo de exponer la manera en la Que Roberto Arlt refleja el contexto histórico en el Que vive en su escritura periodística y literaria |
| Resumen en inglés | This work pretends to analyse the Aguafuertes Porteñas not only as a fusion between the journalistic and the literary activity of Roberto Arlt but also as a faithful reflection of the habits and customs of the inhabitants of Buenos Aires at the beginning of the twentieth century. To that end, we will journey through the main characteristics of 1900's Buenos Aires, highlighting the use of slang, a vocabulary which is discussed by several authors. Also, we will analyze a selection of the Aguafuertes Porteñas in order to expose the way in which Roberto Arlt reflects the historical context in which he lives in his journalistic and literary writings |
