| Resumen en español | Este artículo se propone reflexionar sobre la actividad de la lectura en tiempos en que diariamente se anuncia la disminución en la cantidad de lectores, se decreta la muerte del libro impreso y se entronan nuevos dispositivos que garantizarían la participación del sujeto lector en aquello que lee. La perspectiva de Roland Barthes posibilita un acercamiento a la lectura que coloca en el centro al sujeto lector para vincularlo con el placer, la escritura, más allá del formato textual. Desde esta mirada, será posible recorrer algunos tramos de la historia de la lectura en relación con los usos de los libros, las modificaciones que propone el formato hipertextual y la lectura como una actividad eminentemente subjetiva |
| Resumen en inglés | This article focuses on the activity of reading in times when the diminishing in the number of readers is daily announced, the death of the printed book is decreed and new devices that would guarantee the participation of the reading subject in what he or she reads are put on a pedestal. The views of Roland Barthes enable an approximation to the reading activity that places the subject in the centre, to link hi-her with the pleasure and the writing beyond the textual format. From this view, it will be possible to travel some stretches of the history of reading in relation with the uses of the books, the changes proposed by the hyper textual format and reading as an eminently subjective activity |
