| Resumen en inglés | This paper seeks to initiate a wor k that aims to organize and synthesize ideas and positions on Montaigne's political issues: the nature of political authority, laws, political parties, the self. It is worthwhile to clarify their ideas about the policy does not allow us to refer to "concep ts" because of the different meanings that the subjects are treated. Therefore, we chose the term "concepts", whose meanings are more languid and allow us to track record of Montaigne in his paradoxical movement. In Essays, Montaigne uses in several passag es the words "party", "faction" and "sect". It should be noted that, in terms of policy, Montaigne asks severely sectarianism wherever you are and wherever it comes from. It seems that it is from this meaning that harmful Montaigne criticizes the parties, factions and sects. The language policy of the essayist is notoriously uncertain and various terms used have different meanings. In terms of its evolution, the term "party" came into use replacing gradually the derogatory term "faction" or "sect" with the understanding that the concept of a party is not necessarily a faction, which is not necessarily bad and not necessarily disturb the “ bonum commune ” . | Resumen en portugués | Este artigo procura dar início a um trabalho que visa organizar e sintetizar as reflexões e as posições de Montaigne sobre as ques tões políticas: a natureza da autoridade política, das leis, dos partidos, do eu. Vale a pena esclarecer que suas idéias sobre a política não nos permitem referir a “conceitos” em razão dos diferentes significados com que os temas são tratados. Por isso, optamos pelo termo “noções ”, cujos significados são mais lassos e nos permitem acompanhar Montaigne no registro de seu movimento paradoxal. Nos Ensaios , Montaigne utiliza em várias passagens as palavras “partido”, “facção” e “seita”. Importa salientar que, do ponto de vista da política, Montaigne questiona severamente o sectarismo, esteja onde estiver e venha de onde vier. A linguagem política do ensaísta é notoriamente dubitativa e vários termos utilizados têm significados diversos . Em Montaigne a impassib ilidade política é praticamente impossível e se levada até suas extremas conseqüências do desapego ou da indiferença não é sequer virtude |
