| Resumen en inglés | This research article aims to socialize and present the adaptation of Earned Value Management (EVM) techniques or earned value management, such as Earned Schedule (ES) or schedule earned in the control processes of the planning department of the Military School of Non-commissioned officers Sergeant Inocencio Chincá (EMSUB). Recognizing these techniques for project monitoring and control, which allow knowing the status of the project, comparing it with the baseline for performance measurement; in addition to generating forecasts based on the work done so far. The objective of this research was to adapt these techniques to the control processes of the EMSUB planning department. To achieve this, "The Standard for Earned Value Management" of the Project Management Institute was used, in which the process of applying this technique is described, to then carry out an analysis on which indicators could be used and would be useful for the process of control, finally, the adaptation of the techniques based on the needs of the department was carried out. Because of the research, it was obtained that the cost indicators of the tool were not applicable to the control department, due to this, only schedule and scope indicators were used. Finally, a Control Dashboard was delivered to the planning department, with all the key indicators of EVM and ES; this managed to improve the indicators of time and scope of the department from one period to another significantly. |
| Resumen en español | El presente artículo de investigación pretende socializar y presentar la adaptación de las técnicas de Earned Value Management (EVM) o gestión del valor ganado, como Earned Schedule (ES) o cronograma ganado en los procesos de control del Departamento de Planeación de la Escuela Militar de Suboficiales "Sargento Inocencio Chincá" (EMSUB). Reconociendo estas técnicas para el monitoreo y control de proyectos, las cuales permiten conocer su estado actual, comparándolo con la línea base para la medición del desempeño, además de generar pronósticos con base en el trabajo realizado hasta el momento. El objetivo de esta investigación es adaptar estas técnicas a los procesos de control del departamento de planeación de la EMSUB, para lo cual se utilizó "The Standard for Earned Value Management" del Project Management Institute, en el que se describe el proceso de aplicación de esta técnica, para luego analizar cuáles indicadores se podrían utilizar y serían útiles para el proceso de control. Finalmente se adaptaron las técnicas con base en las necesidades del departamento. Como resultado de la investigación se estableció que los indicadores de costo de la herramienta no eran aplicables a esta dependencia, por esta razón sólo se usaron indicadores de cronograma y alcance. Se entregó un Dashboard de Control al Departamento de Planeación con los indicadores claves de EVM y ES, lo cual mejoró significativamente los indicadores de tiempo y alcance de un periodo a otro. |
