Resumen en inglés | The present study addresses the problems derived from the insufficient professional preparation of grassroots union managers and the current challenges to perform their functions in improving the functioning of educational institutions in the Cuban context. This is a topic of relevant relevance, both in basic and specialized training, for the enhancement of the union practice of this agent. In the process of updating the economic and social model, it is necessary to transform union work from its political-ideological actions. All this imposes a new dynamic in the pedagogical work actions in union organizations. In this sense, greater integrity of the cadres and managers is sought in the effectiveness of their connection with the base, knowing the situation of each union section and to achieve this, their leaders must prioritize their continuous and permanent preparation. The creative leadership of the leaders, as well as their systematic updating in union, educational, economic, social, political and legal issues, becomes another decisive challenge. The intention of the study is to provide union managers in the educational context with the necessary tools and strategies to improve their leadership, negotiation and communication skills, in order to strengthen their ability to effectively represent workers by promoting a fair work environment. and equitable. Materials, techniques and methods are conceived recognizing primary sources and secondary sources. Academic documents were reviewed and interviews were conducted with union managers, education professionals and experts on the subject. |
Resumen en español | El presente estudio aborda las problemáticas derivadas de la insuficiente preparación profesional de los gestores sindicales de base y los desafíos actuales para desempeñar sus funciones en el mejoramiento del funcionamiento de las instituciones educativas en el contexto cubano. Este es un tema de relevante actualidad, tanto en la formación básica como especializada, para la potenciación de la práctica sindical de este agente. En el proceso de actualización del modelo económico y social, se hace necesario transformar el trabajo sindical desde su accionar político-ideológico. Todo esto impone una nueva dinámica en las acciones pedagógicas de trabajo en las organizaciones sindicales. En tal sentido, se busca mayor integralidad de los cuadros y gestores en la efectividad de su vinculación con la base, conocer la situación de cada sección sindical y para lograrlo, sus dirigentes deben priorizar su preparación continua y permanente. Se convierte en otro desafío decisivo el liderazgo creativo de los dirigentes, así como su sistemática actualización en temas sindicales, educativos, económicos, sociales, políticos y jurídicos. La intención del estudio tiene como objetivo proporcionar a los gestores sindicales en el contexto educativo las herramientas y estrategias necesarias para mejorar sus habilidades de liderazgo, negociación y comunicación, con el fin de fortalecer su capacidad para representar eficazmente a los trabajadores promoviendo un ambiente laboral justo y equitativo. Se conciben materiales, técnicas y métodos reconociendo las fuentes primarias y las fuentes secundarias.
