| Resumen en español | El presente artículo tiene como objetivo dar a conocer algunos resultados de la investigación Multilingüismo en Tlachichilco, Veracruz (Cerón, 2011). En este trabajo presentamos la relación que se establece entre las ideologías lingüísticas que existen sobre las denominaciones lingüísticas (etnonimia) que tienen los otomíes, nahuas, tepehuas y mestizos sobre sí mismos y sobre los otros. Es en este marco donde se inscriben las actitudes y los prejuicios lingüísticos que tienen estos grupos y que se manifiestan en estas denominaciones lingüísticas positivas o negativas para referirse al otro, estas formas lingüísticas van correlacionadas con el apego o el rechazo hacia sus propias lenguas |
| Resumen en inglés | This article has the purpose revealing some of the results of a research project entitled Multilingualism in Tlachichilco, Veracruz (Cerón, 2011). In this paper we present the relationship that is established between the linguistic ideologies that exist in linguistic denominations (ethnonymy) that the Otomis, Nahuas, Tepehuas and Mestizos use to refer to themselves and others. It is within this framework where the linguistic attitudes and prejudices that these groups have are inscribed and manifest themselves in these linguistic denominations both positive and negative for the purpose of referring to the other. These linguistic forms have a correlation with the attachment or rejection towards their own languages |
