Resumen en inglés | The pain is possibly the first cause of consultation of the medicine and continues being one of the main challenges in our daily praxis. It is incomprehensible that with all the advances we are immersed in and the therapeutic weapons so simple and effective we have, we have not overcome the ethical problem in a great percentage of the patients. According to data presented by the Health World Organization 25% of terminal oncological patients had not received any sedative in the last 24 hours. The pain control represents a reachable challenge for all the doctors and the society. In a person with an uncontrollable chronic painful suffering the death is his/ her best relief and deign trance. It is necessary that as well the medicine as the doctors themselves act immediately to try to improve in any of the cases the quality of life of each and all of our patients |
