Resumen en inglés The Internet has become a fundamental element when it comes to bearing witness to migratory movements. Added to this is the potential of photography as an engine of change, a record of evidence and a portrait of different types of realities. Analysing the impact of this reality on communication, especially in a regional environment, highlights its influence on social and demographic transformations. The aim is to highlight the value of photography as a documentary archive of migratory processes in the digital space. The methodology is based on exploratory and descriptive-analytical work using photographic sources, statistics and a review of specialised literature in the case of Andalusia (Spain)
