| Resumen en español | Un aspecto central en el análisis de los grupos indígenas migrantes a las ciudades es la constante interacción social y la diversidad de actores involucrados. En este trabajo hago hincapié en las representaciones sociales que elaboran algunos sujetos urbanos respecto de grupos domésticos indígenas migrantes en la Ciudad de México; el interés es reconocer cómo son identificados y la manera en que esto influye en el tipo de interacción que establecen con ellos. Los sujetos de nuestro trabajo son prestadores de servicios de instituciones gubernamentales, ONG o vecinos que interactúan con estas familias triquis por su actividad laboral o por vecindad. Las representaciones sociales referidas por ellos se relacionan con las necesidades en salud de estas familias, su demanda de atención, los problemas de acceso y la utilización de los servicios, así como las prácticas del personal de salud en la aplicación de algunos programas institucionales, sobre todo respecto de su proceso reproductivo, la crianza y la enfermedad infantil entre estos grupos; ya que es a partir de cómo los identifican que se generan acciones concretas y, en muchas ocasiones, maltrato. Estas familias indígenas triquis, originarias de la Mixteca oaxaqueña, migraron a la Ciudad de México hace aproximadamente 15 años y pertenecen a diferentes generaciones. Es importante para nuestro trabajo hacer evidente la presencia de la discriminación que resulta de su interacción y cómo incide en el complejo proceso de continuidad/discontinuidad cultural en que se encuentran insertos estos grupos indígenas urbanos |
| Resumen en inglés | A central aspect in the analysis of the migrant indigenous groups to the cities is the constant social interaction and the diversity of actors with whom they interact. In this case I will make emphasis in the social representations made by some urban subjects towards the domestic indigenous migrant groups in Mexico City; the interest is to recognize the manner of how they are indentified and how this have influence in the type of interaction established with them. The subjects in our case are service providers of governmental institutions, ngo or neighbors that interact with these triquis families because of their labor activity or for neighborhood. The social representations referred by them are about the health necessities of these families, their demand of attention, the problems of accessibility and the use of the services, as well as the representations of the health personal's practice in the application of some institutional programs with the triquis, mainly related to their reproductive process, the upbringing and the childhood diseases among others. Due to, it is how they are identified that concrete actions are generated and in several occasions a bad treatment. The indigenous families of which we are talking are triquis, native of the Mixteca in Oaxaca, who have migrated to Mexico City approximately 15 years ago and belonging to different generations. It is important for our case to make evident the presence of discrimination as a result of the interaction and how it influence in the complex process of cultural continuity/discontinuity in where these urban indigenous groups are inserted |
