| Resumen en inglés | This article discusses the political positioning of women identified with anti-peronism that opposed the first peronism in Argentina. In 1951 Perón was elected president for the second time. That same year women exercised their political rights for the first time and were elected the first Argentine women legislators. On the one hand, the article investigates the conformation of an anti-evitista opposition based on the criticisms received by the government, and in particular Eva Perón, from the sanction of feminine political rights until the 1951 elections. On the other hand, it analyzes the argumentative construction that underlies the characterization of Peronism as undemocratic based on the electoral context of 1951. Finally, the article discusses the questioning to the political role of the first Argentine women legislators (all of them Peronists) who were accused of subsuming their actions to Perón"s mandates and ignoring the demands of women in their parliamentary role. |
| Resumen en español | El presente artículo aborda el posicionamiento político de mujeres identificadas con el antiperonismo que se opusieron al gobierno de Juan Domingo Perón en Argentina. En 1951 Perón fue elegido presidente por segunda vez consecutiva. Ese mismo año las mujeres ejercieron por primera vez sus derechos políticos y fueron electas las primeras legisladoras argentinas. Por un lado, el artículo indaga las críticas que recibieron el gobierno, y en particular Eva Perón, desde la sanción de los derechos políticos femeninos hasta las elecciones de 1951. Por otro lado, analiza la construcción argumentativa que subyace a la caracterización del peronismo como antidemocrático con base en el contexto electoral del "51. Finalmente, el artículo aborda los cuestionamientos al rol político de las primeras legisladoras argentinas -todas ellas peronistas- a las cuales se acusó de subsumir sus actuaciones a los mandatos de Perón e ignorar en su función parlamentaria las demandas femeninas. |
