| Resumen en español | Este estudio trata de establecer los requerimientos térmicos en las diferentes etapas de crecimiento de Coffea arábica L. en la zona cafetalera del norte de Puebla. Se calcularon unidades calor según dos métodos, el exponencial y el residual, así como otros parámetros agroclimáticos como la oscilación térmica y las temperaturas máxima y mínima extremas. Todos los cálculos se hicieron diario, medio mensual y anual. También se obtuvieron las probabilidades diarias de daño por temperaturas altas y bajas. A diferencia de otros estudios similares, en éste se dio especial atención a las temperaturas diarias extremas y se establecieron los rangos correspondientes |
| Resumen en inglés | This paper intends to establish the temperature requirements on the different stages of growth of Coffea arábica L. in the northern area of the Puebla state, where this crop grows. Heat units by two methods, the remainder index (summation constant) and the exponential index were calculated; also, other agroclimatic elements like the daily range of temperature, and maximum and minimum temperatures. Daily, monthly and annual mean of them were obtained. The probabilities of damage to plants by low and high temperatures were also calculated. At difference to other similar studies, this paper gives special attention to daily extremes of temperature, and the ranges on the stages of growth of the crop were established |
