| Resumen en inglés | This study aimed to determine the presence of IgG antibodies anti-Trypanosoma cruzi in Porto Figueira, municipality of Alto Paraíso - Paraná. We collected blood samples from 100 individuals, epidemiological and socioeconomic data of the population. Chagas disease infection was defined by indirect immunofluorescence (IIF) and ELISA (Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay), both of WAMA Diagnostica. The number of positive samples was 2% by IFA and ELISA. Of these, one was female, a native of the State of Paraná, the other sample was reactive to the male and from the State of Sao Paulo.
