| Resumen en portugués | Este texto procura mostrar como Patrick Chamoiseau (nascido na Martinica em 1953) empreende uma reescrita dos afetos e arquivos da escravidão no romance Un dimanche au cachot (2007), dando continuidade a uma temática que já aparecia em obras precedentes. Ele efetua um trabalho de perlaboração, no sentido freudiano, ao rememorar uma história como meio de curar o trauma que foi recalcado. Chamoiseau mistura história e ficção ao tentar recriar de modo não realista um certo ambiente durante o período escravista, incorporando um personagem histórico - Victor Schoelcher - mas mostrando-o antes dos grandes eventos que protagonizou. |
| Resumen en inglés | This text depicts how Patrick Chamoiseau (born in Martinique in 1953) undertakes a rewriting of the affects and archives of the slavery's period in the novel Un dimanche au cachot (2007), continuing a subject that was already present in preceding books. He endeavors a working through, in Freudian terms, reminding a story/history as a means of healing the trauma that has been repressed. Chamoiseau mixes up history and fiction in order to create, in a non realistic style, a certain atmosphere during the slavery's period, incorporating a historical character - Victor Schoelcher - but showing him before the important facts and actions he accomplished. |
| Otro resumen | Ce texte essaie de démontrer comment Patrick Chamoiseau (né à la Martinique en 1953) entreprend une réécriture des affects et des archives de l'esclavage dans le roman Un dimanche au cachot (2007), donnant suite à une thématique qui apparaissait déjà dans ses ouvrages précédents. Il réalise ainsi un travail de perlaboration, au sens freudien du terme, lorsqu'il remémore une histoire comme moyen de guérir le trauma qui fut refoulé. Chamoiseau mélange histoire et fiction afin de recréer de manière non réaliste une certaine ambiance durant la période de l'esclavage, tout en incorporant un personnage historique - Victor Schoelcher - mais le montrant plutôt avant les grands événements auxquels il participa. |
