| Resumen en español | La investigación en desarrollo rural debe abrirse a nuevas corrientes teórico-metodológicas. El pensamiento complejo propone la fusión -para este caso- de las ciencias sociales y las naturales, y así los estudios en desarrollo rural devienen en Ecodesarrollo (ED). Hasta ahora muchas investigaciones en desarrollo rural son "aplicadas" en el sector agropecuario (SAP), e ignoran las complejas relaciones entre los seres humanos y el ambiente físico del cual forman parte, en el que los sujetos del desarrollo rural viven, producen, y con el cual mantienen histórica y tradicionalmente relaciones objetivas y subjetivas relevantes y trascendentes. Al aceptarse el ED como pensamiento complejo, se hace operante a través de los enfoques metodológicos de la transdisciplinariedad -la fusión de diversas disciplinas, como Ecología y Sociología- y la multidimensionalidad. Con ésta última se reconoce que los acercamientos unívocos a la realidad son sólo parciales, y su intencionalidad es superar ese inconveniente. Desde este enfoque se propone la comprensión e interpretación de -entre otras dualidades-, las conformadas por lo objetivo y lo subjetivo, lo macro y lo micro, lo individual y lo colectivo, lo moderno y lo tradicional, el enfoque de géneros, la estructura y la acción, y el (inseparable) vínculo entre sociedad y naturaleza |
| Resumen en inglés | Research in rural development should open up to new theoretic-methodological trends. Complex thought proposes the fusion - in this case - of social and natural sciences, and thus studies in rural development lead to Eco-development (ED). Until now, many investigations in rural research are applied to the agricultural and cattle sector (ACS), and they ignore the complex relations between human beings and the physical environment of which they are part, where the subjects of rural development live and produce, and with which they maintain, historically and traditionally, objective and subjective relationships that are relevant and transcendent. Once ED is accepted as complex thought, it becomes operative through methodological approaches in trans-disciplinarity -the fusion of diverse disciplines, such as Ecology and Sociology- and multi-dimensionality. With the last one, it is recognized that univocal approaches to reality are only partial, and its intention is to overcome this inconvenience. From this approach, comprehension and interpretation are suggested of - among other dualities -, the ones made up of objective and subjective, macro and micro, individual and collective, modern and traditional, the gender perspective, structure and action, and the (inseparable) link between society and nature |
