| Resumen en inglés | This article aims to examine the issue of social function of property from the Federal Constitution of 1988. Building on the reality of Goiania, set changes by the Brazilian urban space over the twentieth century marked by social and spatial segregation and consequently the social tensions in the search for housing. Understanding the social function of property from the new constitutional charter which social rights and individual overlap to search for urban sustainability becomes clear the solution of segregation |
| Resumen en portugués | Este artigo pretende analisar a questão da função social da propriedade a partir da Constituição Federal de 1988. Tomando por base a realidade de Goiânia, estabelecer as alterações sofridas pelo espaço urbano brasileiro ao longo do século XX marcado pela segregação social e espacial e consequentemente pelas tensões sociais existentes na busca pela moradia. Compreender a função social da propriedade a partir da nova Carta Constitucional onde os direitos sociais se sobrepõem aos individuais e a busca pela sustentabilidade urbana passa inequivocamente pela solução da segregação |
