Resumen en español | Se consideró necesario evaluar si el advenimiento de nuevas marcas de clopidogrel incrementó las trombosis coronarias post Stent en el Hospital “Dr. Miguel Pérez Carreño”,. Métodos: Se determinó la frecuencia de trombosis en pacientes con Stent implantados antes y después que se lanzaran al mercado marcas de clopidogrel diferentes a Plavix®. Se revisaron las historias de 100 pacientes sometidos a procedimientos de revascularización coronaria con colocación de Stent, entre los años 2002 al 2010, 75 ingresaron al análisis. Se les dividió en dos grupos, pacientes cuyos Stents fueron colocados antes del 2006, después del año 2006 ya que las primeras segundas marcas de clopidogrel salieron al mercado venezolano en noviembre 2006. Resultados: Antes de 2006, el 90,32% de los pacientes, egresaron con indicación de recibir clopidogrel, todos los casos recibieron la única marca comercial existente, Plavix®. A partir del año 2007, se evidenció que aproximadamente al 86% de los pacientes se les indicó terapia con clopidogrel, de estos, 97% se le indicó Plavix® y aproximadamente el 3% egresó con la indicación de Cravid®. En el año 2006 o antes, hubo 13% de eventos trombóticos en los pacientes que recibían Plavix®; después de 2006 este fue de 15,9%, esta diferencia no fue estadísticamente significativa.El odds ratio fue de 0.39, indicando la misma relación que el RR. Conclusiones: No hubo incremento del número de trombosis coronaria después de la aparición de segundas marcas de clopidogrel en el mercado Venezolano |
Resumen en inglés | It was considered necessary to assess whether the advent of new brands of clopidogrel increased coronary thrombosis post stent in the Hospital “Dr. Miguel Pérez Carreño”. Methods: The frequencies of thrombosis in patients with stent implanted were determined before and after the market from to clopidogrel different brands to Plavix® were launched. Were reviewed Histories of 100 patients undergoing coronary revascularization procedures with stent placement, from 2002 to 2010, 75 entered the analyzes. They were divided into two groups, patients whose stents were placed before it in 2006, after 2006, since the leading brands of clopidogrel seconds left to the Venezuelan market in November 2006. Results: Prior to 2006, 90.32% of patients were discharged with clopidogrel indication; all cases were the only existing trademark, Plavix®. Beginning in 2007, showed that approximately 86% of patients were noted with clopidogrel therapy of these, 97% were indicated Plavix® and about 3% graduated with an indication of Cravid®. In 2006 or earlier, there were 13% of thrombotic events in patients receiving Plavix®; after 2006 this was 15.9%, this difference was not statistically significativa.
