| Resumen en español | La tesis de postgrado no es sólo un requisito académico-administrativo que debe satisfacer el alumno, sino algo más elevado: a través de ella se manifitsta la educación que el postgraduado ha recibido y la calidad de la institución donde ha estudiado; por ello en ocasiones no se le enfoca correctamente ni se le relaciona con el método científico cuyas normas deben gobernarla. Es necesario reflexionar acerca de una serie de aspectos que deben ser tenidos en cuenta antes de hacer una elección de tema que pudiera resultar equivocada o irrealizable. Tener idea clara de lo que se busca a través de una tesis ayuda a realizarla y evita rechazos, pérdida de tiempo y quizás frustración |
| Resumen en inglés | The postgraduate thesis is not only an academic administrative requirement that the student must fulfill, but something more elevated: through it the education that the postgraduate has received and the quality of the institution where he has studied is exposed: that is why in occasions it is not well focused nor related to the scientific method, which rules should norm it. Meditation is necessary about a series of aspects that should be taken in account before electing a theme that could be faulty or could not be carried out.
