| Spanish abstract | ste artículo tiene como propósito establecer las diferencias existentes en la prestación de servicios de telecomunicaciones para 78 países entre los años 2010 a 2015 a partir de un análisis que permiten las instituciones informales planteadas por North (1993). La metodología es cuantitativa y se utiliza el modelo de panel de datos de efectos fijos. Los resultados muestran que existen diferencias entre los países que fueron objeto de estudio. Estas diferencias no se limitan a la tecnología, sino que corresponden a las instituciones informales |
| English abstract | The purpose of this article is to establish the differences in the provision of telecommunications services for 78 countries between the years 2010 and 2015, based on an analysis of the informal institutions proposed by North (1993). The methodology is quantitative and the fixed effects data panel model is used. The results show that there are differences between the countries that were the object of study. These differences are not limited to technology, but correspond to informal institutions |
