| Spanish abstract | Neonato de sexo masculino con origen anómalo de la arteria subclavia derecha con interrupción del arco aórtico que tenía como síntomas: dificultad respiratoria, cianosis y soplo precordial; al examen físico, con rasgos fenotípicos sugestivos del síndrome de Di George que tuvo durante su estancia en el hospital con hipocalcemia persistente. La interrupción del arco aórtico era tipo B; se le identificó con el ecocardiograma; la presencia de otra anomalía vascular asociada se identificó mediante angiotomografía computada (Angio-Tac), lo que permitió precisar el origen anómalo de la arteria subclavia derecha emergiendo del segmento aórtico distal interrumpido. Ante esta experiencia recomendamos la angiotomografía computada como complemento en la valoración de pacientes con sospecha de esta anomalía; de no ser posible, identificar por ecocardiograma otras posibles anomalías asociadas |
| English abstract | We present the first case of aberrant right subclavian artery in interruption of the aortic arch that was diagnosed in the Children Hospital of the Sonora State in a newborn male whom had symptoms of distress respiratory, cyanosis and precordial murmur. Physical exam suggested Di George syndrome phenotypic characteristic and in his hospital stay had persistent hypocalcemia. Diagnosis of the interruption of the aortic arch type B was made by Echocardiography 2D and the other vascular anomaly associated, by computed tomographic angiography that permitted for identifying anatomic features from aberrant origin of the right subclavian artery leaving from interrupted distal aortic segment. We recommended to make this study as a complement for evaluation of this patients when is not possible to detect by Echocardiography and other associated vascular anomalies as in this case |
