| English abstract | The present work analyses teaching from listening to the concluded students of the pedagogy course at the public university of Bahia, it was carried out in the first stage of the qualitative research: The students and teachers’ representations about pedagogy programs in two universities in Bahia about the educative practice in the teacher’s initial formation. This first stage had as one of the objectives to comprehend how the students conceive the teaching profession and the backwash of the educative practice lived during the initial formation in the professional identity. Due to the limited space, in this text we will contemplate specifically the discussion of the data that refer to the representation of the students’ teaching. The qualitative research adopted as the strategies of collecting of the data, the focal group and the semi-structured interview, and the treatment of them was developed through the analysis of the content based on Bardin. Teaching is represented by the students, according to their disquiets and experiences, as a complex activity, for it involves the responsibility of treating and forming people in all their dimensions and incorporates a multiplicity of knowledges. Among these knowledges value those who are related to the transmission of the subject and the management of the interactions with the students |
| Portuguese abstract | O presente trabalho analisa a docência com base na escuta a estudantes concluintes do curso de pedagogia de uma universidade pública baiana, realizada nos marcos da primeira etapa da pesquisa qualitativa: As representações de estudantes e professores dos cursos de licenciatura de duas universidades da Bahia sobre a prática educativa na formação inicial do professor. Entre os objetivos dessa fase primeira, inclui-se o de compreender como os estudantes concebem a profissão professor e a repercussão das práticas educativas vivenciadas durante a formação inicial na sua identidade profissional. Nesse texto, contemplaremos, especificamente, a discussão dos dados que se referem à representação de docência dos estudantes. A pesquisa, de natureza qualitativa, adotou o grupo focal e a entrevista semi estruturada como estratégias de coleta de dados, cujo tratamento foi desenvolvido através da análise de conteúdo baseada em Bardin. A docência é representada pelos estudantes, a partir de suas inquietações e vivências, como uma atividade complexa, pois envolve a responsabilidade de lidar e formar pessoas em todas as suas dimensões e incorpora uma multiplicidade de saberes.
