| Spanish abstract | La investigación tuvo como objetivo analizar la inteligencia emocional del gerente educativo y el clima laboral en Escuelas Bolivarianas. Se centró en un estudio descriptivo con diseño de campo. La población estuvo conformada por quince (15) directivos y cincuenta y ocho (58) docentes en las escuelas bolivarianas del Municipio Lagunillas, Estado Zulia Venezuela. Para recabar la información se aplicaron dos cuestionarios de veintidos (22) ítems cada uno, con escala de estimación en cuatro alternativas dirigidas al personal directivo y docente. Los resultados permiten concluir que el nivel de inteligencia emocional de acuerdo a las dimensiones estudiadas es deficiente en los directores educativos, demostrando que su liderazgo se limita al aspecto administrativo sin llegar a ser proactivos, lo cual influye en un clima de insatisfacción laboral en el personal debido a la falta de motivación, estímulo y empatía gerencial |
| English abstract | The research had as objective to analyze the emotional intelligence of the educational manager and the work climate in Bolivarian Schools. He focused on a descriptive study with field design. The population consisted of fifteen (15) directors and fifty-eight (58) teachers in the Bolivarian schools of Lagunillas Municipality, Zulia State, Venezuela. To obtain the information, two questionnaires of twenty-two (22) items each were applied, with an estimation scale in four alternatives addressed to managers and teacher. The results allow to conclude the level of emotional intelligence according to the dimensions studied is deficient in the educational directors, demonstrating that their leadership is limited to the administrative aspect without becoming proactive, which influences a climate of dissatisfaction in the workforce due Lack of motivation, encouragement and managerial empathy |
