| English abstract | Indigenous peoples have “surfaced” in Latin America in recent decades with great force and gradually “undressing” history, rebuilding a new scenario. They have become visible, it is no longer possible to ignore them. In this context, indigenous women are increasingly participating in meetings, forums, workshops and national and international conferences. In these new spaces of discussion women of different ethnicities and generations articulate, discuss and claim their well-being, since many indigenous women have been victims of violent actions, both in the context of their own communities, and in the contact with non-indigenous society and on that imposition from European colonialism. In this sense, this work has the objective to highlight the participation of these women in political spaces that were once considered masculine, as well as to highlight their demands. | Portuguese abstract | Os povos indígenas “emergem” nas últimas décadas na América Latina com grande força e aos poucos estão “desnudando” a história, reconstruindo um novo cenário. Tornaram-se visíveis, não é mais possível ignorá-los. Neste contexto destacam-se as mulheres indígenas que estão participando, cada vez mais, de encontros, fóruns, oficinas e conferências nacionais e internacionais. Nestes novos espaços de discussão mulheres de diferentes etnias e gerações, articulam, discutem e reivindicam seu bem viver, uma vez que muitas mulheres indígenas têm sido vítimas de ações violentas, tanto no contexto de suas próprias comunidades, no contato com a sociedade não indígena e também naquele imposto a partir do colonialismo europeu. Neste sentido, este trabalho tem o objetivo de evidenciar a participação destas mulheres em espaços políticos que outrora eram considerados masculinos, bem como destacar suas demandas.
