| Spanish abstract | Se analiza la participación de la Escuela de Educación de la Uni- versidad Central de Venezuela en Jornadas de Investigación de su Facul- tad entre 1982 y 2006 mediante 160 resúmenes de conferencias. Los cri- terios para el análisis fueron Cantidad de ponencias, Escuela, Temáticas y Nombres de investigadores. Se comparan los dos primeros criterios con el resto de las Escuelas. Los resultados muestran que Educación es tercera por número de ponencias, las temáticas tienden hacia la Pedago- gía en general, casi cuatro quintas partes son autores por una sola vez, y los autores con mayor cantidad de ponencias tenían para la fecha del estudio la máxima categoría académica |
| English abstract | This article analyzes participation of the School of Education at the Central University of Venezuela (Universidad Central de Venezuela) in research congresses of the Faculty of Humanities between 1982 and 2006 through the study of 160 presentation abstracts. Analysis criteria were the number of presentations, the University School, the topics addressed and names of the researchers. The first two criteria were compared with the other ten Schools in Humanities. Results show that the School of Education placed third in terms of the number of presentations, topics tended to- ward pedagogical issues, almost four fifths were first-time authors and authors with the greatest number of presentations were in the highest eche- lons of the academic ladder on the date of the study |
