| English abstract | This article presents a reported study that examined the contribution of materials on virtual and non-virtual technologies with a focus on linguistic awareness in chronicles prediction reading to students in the 9th grade of high school. The Psycholinguistics was the theoretical support and Computer(s) the technical support. It involved materials production and the use of workshops development and use of pre-test and post-test. The results indicated a significant difference pre/post-tests in the awareness of the prediction use, and a favorable advantage of virtual technology, although with no statistically significant difference. | Portuguese abstract | Neste artigo, é relatado estudo que examinou a contribuição de materiais em tecnologias virtual e não virtual com foco na consciência linguística no uso da predição leitora de crônica, para alunos do 9º ano. A Psicolinguística foi o suporte teórico e a Computação, o apoio técnico. Envolveu produção de materiais, desenvolvimento de oficinas de leitura e uso de pré e pós-teste. Os resultados indicaram diferença significativa pré/pós-teste na consciência sobre uso da predição, vantagem favorável à tecnologia virtual, embora sem diferença estatística significativa, e alcance do objetivo estabelecido, recomendando o uso, na escola, de materiais com as propriedades estudadas |
