| Spanish abstract | En el presente estudio se expone la incorporación de nuevas oportunidades de explotación que se han generado, inicialmente mediante la actividad exploratoria, y recientemente por la reorientación estratégica hacia la perforación de avanzada, con lo que se ha logrado la adición de reservas y el incremento de la producción de gas y condensado en el bloque Nejo. Para la consecución de este logro, se partió inicialmente de la estrategia original de exploración, orientada hacia la búsqueda de prospectos generadores de nuevos campos, la cual fue simultáneamente revisada hacia la evaluación de nuevas estructuras y compartimientos limítrofes. Se destaca la incorporación por exploración del nuevo campo Lindero, ubicado a 14 Km al norte del campo Nejo, más nuevos yacimientos descubiertos por pozos de avanzada en las formaciones Anáhuac y Frío Marino del Oligoceno, en las estructuras este, oeste y noroeste de este campo. Con la integración de estas nuevas oportunidades de desarrollo mediante la actividad exploratoria y cambio de estrategia hacia avanzada, se han obtenido los siguientes logros: • Incorporación de seis áreas nuevas, con reservas remanentes 3P de 53.4 BCF de gas y 4.0 MMBls de condensado, certificadas al cierre de 2014, lo cual representa entre el 19% y 17% del total de reservas certificadas en el bloque Nejo. • Al cierre de 2014, con 72 pozos activos, estas nuevas áreas aportan un total de producción de 53 MMPCD y 2,290 BD, que equivalen al 24% y 22% de total de producción de gas y condensado respectivamente. • Al 31-12-14 se tuvo una producción acumulada de 42 BCF de gas y 2.0 MMBls de condensado. • Se dispone de una cartera de 118 nuevas localizaciones remanentes con una producción estimada a acumular de 66 BCF de gas más 3.3 MMBls de condensado. | English abstract | In this paper we present the incorporation of new opportunities of exploitation that have been generated, initially through the exploratory activity, and recently by the strategic reorientation towards appraisal drilling. Therefore, we have achieved the addition of new reserves and the increase of production of gas and condensate in Nejo block. To achieve this accomplishment, we initially focused the original exploratory strategy towards the search for generating prospects for new fields, which was simultaneously revised to the evaluation of new structures and bordering compartments. It is important to point out the discovery of the new field Lindero by exploration activities, sited 14 km to the North of Nejo field, and new reservoir added by appraisal wells in Anahuac and Oligocene Frio Marino formations, located in the East, West and Northwest of this gas field. We have obtained the following achievements with the integration of these new opportunities of development through the exploration activity and change in the strategy to appraisal: • Incorporation of six (6) new areas, with remaining reserves (3P) of 53.4 BCF of gas and 4.0 MMBls of condensate, certified at the end of the year 2014, which represents between 19% and 17% of the total reserves in Nejo block. • These new areas, at the end of 2014, with 72 active wells, provide a total production of 53 MMCFD of gas and 2,290 barrels per day of condensate that represents 24% and 22% of total production of gas and condensate respectively. • The cumulative production is 42 BCF of gas and 2.0 MMBls of condensate. • We have a portfolio of 118 remaining new locations with an estimated cumulative production of 66 BCF of gas and 3.3 MMBls of condensate. Based on these important results, we will continue the implementation of this strategy, by using the appraisal drilling, as it is established in future businesses plans |
