| Spanish abstract | Narran estas memorias el abandono de la provincia mexicana por la familia Patán y su asentamiento en la Ciudad de México. Por lo mismo, los cambios que se dieron respecto al exilio republicano. Se exponen esas modificaciones mediante una serie de anécdotas sencillas pero eficaces: el aprender a vivir la capital, el ser alumno en uno de los colegios creados por el exilio, el disfrutar la abundante oferta de cine que se tenía y el encontrar aspectos del exilio imposibles de conocer en provincia |
| English abstract | This memoirs tell about the experience of leaving behind living in a provincial town of Mexico and learning to live in the capital city. Changes were inevitable and are introduced by way of many daily happenings. The narrative voice is that of an adult obeying the approach of a boy. So, learning to live in a complex city, going to one of the schools created by the exile, enjoying the abundance of films, getting to see the many presences the exile had. So, these pages are an individual testimony of what now belongs to History |
