| Spanish abstract | En el caso particular de la Iglesia se podría hablar de una respon - sabilidad social integral porque le preocupa la vida del ser humano en cuanto existencia total, porque «la gloria de Dios se expresa en una vida digna para el hombre», además porque la Iglesia siempre está presente en donde la vida se desarrolla y busca nuevos cauces, sin olvidar su vocación trascendente en esta historia. La Iglesia como comunidad siempre estará inspirada y animada por la acción del Espíritu Santo y por su compromiso con los más pobres y excluidos, que se expresa en muchas de sus obras sociales y que tiene como fundamento moral: el amor de Dios por toda su creación. Esto de alguna manera nos in - terpela a hacernos responsables de todo lo que hagamos con ella. En otras palabras, una profunda experiencia del Dios de la vida nos debe llevar a un compromiso histórico con nuestro mundo y con nuestra sociedad: porque la grandeza de Dios se revela en esta historia al dar un nuevo sentido a lo humano desde la Encarnación |
| English abstract | In the particular case of the Church, a comprehensive social responsibility could be stated, because it is concerned with human life in terms of total existence: «the glory of God is expressed in a worthy life for the man». Since the Church is present where life de - velops and looks for new challenges, it is important not to forget its transcendent vocation in history. The Church as a community will always be inspired and encouraged by the Holy Spirit’s action and its commitment to the poor and excluded is expressed in many of its social work, always following its moral foundation: the love of God for all his creation. That somehow, challenges us to take responsibility for everything we do with it. In other words, a profound experience of God of life should lead us to a historic compromise with our world and our society: the greatness of God is revealed in this story to give a new meaning to the human from the Incarnation |
