| English abstract | Throughout 500 years, the natural beauty of Mexico City amazed chroniclers, historians and travelers who saw it first hand. In spite of its extraordinary location, since the fall of Tenochtitlan the city has found itself in a long evolution between its death and resurrection. Each one of these stages is addressed through diverse voices that speak of its surroundings and evolution from the pre-Hispanic islet to the urban sprawl of the 21st century |
