| Spanish abstract | El borde formal hacia el oeste de la ciudad de La Habana en el municipio Marianao lo constituye la calle 136. A partir de esta vía y hasta el río Quibú se sucede una simultaneidad de barrios informales que forman complejos rizomas urbanos. En este artículo se describen las propuestas realizadas por estudiantes de cuarto año de la Facultad de Arquitectura para dos de estos barrios: Indaya y La Escalera. Las propuestas alcanzan desde la escala general urbana a la escala específica de la vivienda. La ideología ha sido la evolución natural de estos lugares y su potenciación urbana en vez de su erradicación |
| English abstract | The established limits to the west part of the city of La Habana, in Marianao municipality, are set by 136 street. There are various urban informal neighborhoods that are settled altogether in the area limited by the former street and Quibú river. Two of these neighborhoods, Indaya and La Escalera, are the proposals by 4th year students from the School of Architecture. Such proposals will cover from the urban general scale to the housing specific scale. The ideology followed in these areas has been that of the natural evolution and its urban improvement instead of its eradication |
