| Spanish abstract | La tesis del artículo consiste en mostrar, ante posturas racionalistas (como la de Porfirio Miranda, Karl–Otto Apel o Mario Rojas), que es necesario situar el ámbito del discurso desde un horizonte más amplio. El racionalismo tiende a definir al ser humano esencialmente como ser pensante, racional. Es necesario mostrar que el ser humano es ante todo una "carnalidad viviente". La vida es el modo de realidad del ser humano, y la afectividad y la racionalidad son dos dimensiones del propio ser viviente, es decir, de la vida. La vida no es condición de la razón o el argumento. Estos dos últimos no son el momento esencial del ser humano y su finalidad, sino que, por el contrario, es la vida el momento fundamental y la racionalidad una dimensión para alcanzar la vida plena. La fundamentación de la ética debe partir de la realidad del ser viviente y puede también usar una fundamentación trascendental de la racionalidad teniendo siempre en consideración que no es la última instancia desde un punto de vista metafísico y no puramente discursivo |
| English abstract | The main thesis of the article consists of showing, confronted with rationalist positions (such as Porfirio Miranda's, Karl–Otto Apel's or Mario Rojas'), that it is necessary to establish the scope of discourse from a wider horizon. Rationalism tends to define human being essentially as a thinking, rational being. It is necessary to show that human being is, above all, a "living carnality". Life is human being's reality mode; affectivity and rationality are two dimensions of the living being itself, 1 e., of life. Life is not a condition of reason or argument. These two are not the essential moment of human being and its finality, but, on the contrary, life is the fundamental moment and rationality a dimension to achieve a full life. The foundation of ethics has to derive from the reality of the living being and can also use a transcendental foundation of rationality bearing always in mind that it is not the last instance from a metaphysical point of view and not purely discoursive |
