Aparte del fundamento teórico y el método de la escuela, se tratan sus temas predilectos – la antropología política, la antropología jurídica y el ritual. El artículo termina con la discusión sobre el legado de la escuela y su relevancia para la antropología en México |
| English abstract | The article contains a general description of the Manchester School as part of British social anthropology and its historical development, in-cluding its early phase in Northern Rhodesia. Apart from the school’s theoretical foundation and its method, the article treats its principal themes – political anthropology, legal anthropology and ritual. The article closes with a brief discussion of the school’s legacy and its rele-vance for Mexican anthropology |
