| Resumen en inglés | The article addresses the question of the status of the human body in response to new biotechnological contexts. The technology seeks to accomplish the dream of overcoming the limits of the human body, while the Cult of physical fitness endeavors to maintain eternal youth. Thus, incarnation is presented as a way of redeeming the body, the resurrection of Jesus Christ as the embodiment that saves and resurrection of the body as a hope for humans. Therefore, a Cristian anthropology of the body capable to pave the way for redemption is established |
| Resumen en portugués | O artigo aborda a questão do estatuto do corpo humano diante dos novos contextos biotecnológicos. A tecnologia busca realizar o sonho da superação dos limites do corpo humano, enquanto o culto da forma física procura manter a juventude eterna. Diante disso, a encarnação se apresenta como caminho redentor do corpo, a ressurreição de Jesus Cristo como corporeidade que salva e a ressurreição da carne como esperança para o ser humano. Assim se estabelece uma antropologia cristã sobre o corpo, capaz de abrir caminho para a redenção |
