| Resumen en inglés | The research enrolls in the speeches and debates over the rationalism, relativism and the plurality in the Brazilian educational, social and historic context. The aim of the work is to analyze the implications of the modernity’s impacts over education and the modern man. The text reasons the appearing of modernity, its development, its crisis and the discussion around the concept and of “postmodernism’s” culture. Its impact over education, with respect to rationalization of the knowledge and its conceptual change, ended up emerging in a great crisis of paradigms that straight affected the social institutions, the problematization of the contents with its implications to the practice and posture of the teacher and the cultural revitalization, as expressions and aspects of the experience, of the pontentialities and living of the student body. At last, the research aims to identify the presuppositions of modernity in the light of the pedagogical discussion in discoveries, limits and possibilities, understanding that the beauty of its existence consists of an eternal come to be in the ambit of a globalized culture and democracy |
| Resumen en portugués | A pesquisa inscreve-se nos discursos e debates sobre o Racionalismo, relativismo e a pluralidade no contexto educacional, social, histórico brasileiro. O objetivo do trabalho é analisar os pressupostos dos impactos da modernidade sobre a educação e o homem moderno. O texto discute o surgimento da modernidade, seu desenvolvimento, sua crise e a discussão em torno do conceito e da cultura do “pós-moderno”. Seu impacto sobre a educação, no que tange à racionalização do conhecimento e sua mudança conceitual, acabou desembocando numa grande crise de paradigmas que afetou diretamente as instituições sociais, a problematização dos conteúdos com suas implicações para a prática e postura do professor e a relativização cultural, como expressões e aspectos da experiência, das potencialidades e vivência dos discentes. Por fim, a pesquisa pretende identificar os pressupostos da modernidade, à luz da discussão pedagógica em torno da construção do processo educacional e da formação do homem, considerando suas descobertas, limites e possibilidades, compreendendo que a beleza de sua existência consiste num eterno vir-a-ser no âmbito de uma cultura globalizada e democrática |
