| Spanish abstract | En un contexto como el de Ciudad Juárez, los jóvenes han perdido paulatinamente los espacios en que institucionalmente eran aceptados; ellos son integrados al discurso de la “necesidad de las redes sociales” y a su vez integran y normalizan el uso de la red debido al contexto sumamente violento de las calles de la ciudad. Así, se ejerce una forma de violencia simbólica particular, que ayuda a la generación de una afonía social del dolor. De esta manera, entendemos que una manifestación, que pretende recordar a los asesinados en el estado de violencia social, resulta una ruptura de la afonía, si bien no resulta una formulación de un duelo social, sí un inicio que permite al dolor hacerse audible en una sociedad en la que la afonía del mismo parece ser una constante. Y es el caso de la manifestación de los “Indignados de Juárez”, en la que de manera implícita se cuestionan categorías instituidas de persona, categorías referentes a la jerarquía social (las condiciones económico-sociales, el papel de la universidad en el contexto social y el papel de los jóvenes en dicho proceso) y categorías políticas sobre las instituciones |
| English abstract | In a context such as the one present in Ciudad Juárez, México, the young have slowly lost the spaces in which they were institutionally accepted. They have been integrated to the “needs of the social networks” speech, and by the way, they integrate and normalize the use of networks due to the extremely violent context lived in the streets of the city. In this way, a particular kind of symbolic violence is exerted, helping to generate a “social aphonia of pain”. In agreement to this concept, we can understand a protest that pretends remembering the assassinated victims in the social violence state as a rupture of that “aphonia”. Although it is not a social grief formulation it is a start point that allows the pain to became audible in a society in which the “aphonia” state is a constant. In the “Indignados de Juárez” protest we can find implicit questionings to the instituted categories about the person, corresponding to the social hierarchy such as social-economic conditions, the role of University in the social context and the role of the young people in this process; and questionings to instituted political categories about institutions |
