| Spanish abstract | La autoficción es una tendencia contemporánea en las escrituras del Yo que ha recibido poca atención en el contexto hispanoamericano, pese a que numerosos textos, incluso anteriores al surgimiento del término, hacen ostentación del autor convertido en personaje de su propia obra. Este artículo propone un acercamiento a Abaddón el Exterminador de Ernesto Sábato mediante algunos de los postulados teóricos de la autoficción para interpretar la ficcionalización del autor en relación con la estructura formal y la fragmentación y búsqueda de la identidad del yo. | English abstract | “Autofiction” is a contemporary tendency in self writing that has not received enough attention in the Latin-American context, although a big quantity of texts, even those that precede the origin of that term, show the author transformed into a character of his own novel. In this paper the proposal is an approach to Abaddón el Exterminador by Ernesto Sábato through some of the theoretical principles of autofiction in order to interpret the fictionalization of the author and its relationships with the formal structure and the fragmentation and searching of the identity |
