| Spanish abstract | La inquietud por las prácticas de los docentes universitarios de los programas de salud surge a partir de los diferentes procesos que influyen en la formación de profesionales muy hábiles en el campo disciplinar, pero a veces con escasa formación pedagógica. En este sentido, se hace necesario conocer específicamente cómo los docentes de fisioterapia conjugan en su práctica de enseñanza los saberes disciplinares y los saberes pedagógicos, para preparar a los futuros profesionales de cara a los retos de los nuevos tiempos. Por tanto, el siguiente artículo tiene por objetivo realizar un razonamiento crítico de la información disponible sobre la función del docente de fisioterapia y las características que ha de poseer, al igual que cómo enfrentan los retos para los nuevos tiempos, proporcionando así herramientas de análisis para el ejercicio de dicha labor |
| English abstract | The concern surrounding the practices of university teachers in health programs arises due to the different processes that lead to the education of professionals who are highly skilled in their disciplines, but who sometimes have little pedagogical training. In this sense, it is necessary to know specifically how physical therapy teachers integrate the disciplinary and pedagogical know-how into their teaching practice to prepare future professionals to face the challenges of the new times. Therefore, the following article aims to critically analyze the available information on the role of the physical therapy teacher and the features they must possess, as well as how they face the challenges in the new times providing analysis tools for the exercise of such work |
