| English abstract | This paper presents the reflections based on an ethnographic research carried out in the city of Porto Alegre (RS) in a class of Children’s Education. In the field of Childhood Sociology, I have listened to children’s music during one year, following their school routine. The different ‘noising’ games gathered indicate that noising is children’s music, an unpredictable and undetermined action that flows in the diversity of a body that renders itself to the sensibility of sounding. The goal here is to call the attention to an aspect in children’s cultures that is not much considered: their intense need of playing with sounds. In such activity, children experience that music does not only operate with sounds, but with listening as a poetic dimension that breaks into the free time or provisory breaks of the institution in order to resound plural singularities |
| Portuguese abstract | O artigo apresenta reflexões tomadas a partir de investigação de tipo etnográfico desenvolvida na cidade de Porto Alegre em uma turma de educação infantil. No campo da sociologia da infância, escutei a música das crianças durante um ano, vivendo sua rotina escolar. Os diferentes jogos de barulhar coletados demarcam que a música das crianças é o barulhar, ação imprevisível e indeterminada que flui na diversidade de um corpo que se lança à sensibilidade de soar. O objetivo é chamar atenção para um aspecto pouco considerado nas culturas infantis: sua intensa necessidade de brincar com sons. Nessa atividade as crianças testemunham que a música não opera somente com sons, mas com a escuta como dimensão poética que invade os tempos livres ou as brechas provisórias da instituição para ressoar singularidades plurais |
