| English abstract | The following article aims at placing General Augusto Pinochet's military dictatorship in Chile as a field study for the development and positioning of a new political history focused on people's actions. For that purpose, we characterize the new political history and, at the same time, we propose some topics to be inquired and reflected on, such as political culture and political violence |
