| Spanish abstract | Nicolás Rolando (1885-1914) formó parte activa de la oposición durante el gobierno de Cipriano Castro (1889-1908), participó en diversas conspiraciones y en la Revolución Libertadora en la cual fue vencido. El artículo presenta una revisión historiográfica del personaje, señala omisiones y equivocaciones en la cronología y acciones del personaje, al compararlas con su archivo personal e inédito. Esta fuente documental permitió la ubicación precisa en el tiempo en que actuó, además de revelar información confidencial no registrada en otras fuentes |
| English abstract | Nicolás Rolando (1885-1914) formed part of the opposition during the government of Cipriano Castro (1889-1908), participated in diverse conspiracies and the Liberating Revolution in which he was won. The article presents a historiográfica review of the personage, indicates to omissions and mistakes in the chronology and action of the personage when comparing them with its personal and unpublished file. Counting on this documentary source allowed the precise location in the time in that it acted, besides revealing not registered confidential information in other sources |
