| English abstract | Adopting some conceptions of the Analysis of Speech and some of Bachelard’s, texts by 8th grade students produced in Science classes were analyzed. It was attempted to seek the influence of the produced mediations, aiming to investigate the types of repetition occurred, be it empirical, formal or historical. It was concluded that the writing can enable the students to become aware of their ideas, to analyze, to structure and even to take to themselves more abstract thoughts, but it is important to point out the adopted text genre, once it allows the thought manifestations without the imminent concern of solely fulfilling the teacher’s demands |
| Portuguese abstract | Adotando-se algumas noções da Análise de Discurso, de Bachelard, analisaram-se textos de alunos da 8ª série do ensino fundamental, produzidos em aulas de Ciências. Buscou-se a influência das mediações produzidas, visando investigar os tipos de repetição ocorrida, empírica, formal ou histórica. Concluiu-se que a escrita pode possibilitar aos alunos a conscientização de suas ideias, bem como levá- -los a analisar, estruturar e até a apropriar-se de um pensamento mais abstrato, mas há que se ressaltar o gênero textual adotado, pois ele permite as manifestações do pensamento sem a preocupação iminente de atender unicamente às exigências do professor |
