| Spanish abstract | El presente artículo tiene como objetivo analizar el valor ético de la responsabilidad social en la investigación, entendiendo que los resulta- dos de la misma deben dar un aporte de solución a los problemas socia- les. El estudio es de tipo documental. Entre sus resultados se destaca el hecho, en la cual, el significado del valor ético de la responsabilidad so- cial en la comunidad científica, debe asumirse como el compromiso u obligación que tienen los investigadores, de generar beneficios para la sociedad. El concepto introduce una valoración, positiva o negativa, al impacto que tiene ante la sociedad las decisiones científicas |
| English abstract | The study aims to analyze the ethical value of social responsibility in research, understanding that the results should contribute a solution to social problems. The study is documentary. Results include the fact that the meaning of the ethical value of social responsibility in the scientific community must be assumed as the commitment or obligation thatresearchers have to generate benefits for society. The concept introduces an assessment, positive or negative, on the impact that scientific decisions have for society |
