| English abstract | In this approach, social memory is understood as a representation of the past, it is socially constructed meanings that were dragged throughout history. Evidently, such represen - tations were constructed under certain specific conditions and, as such, carry - in the course of an ongoing story - ideological components produced in total binding to the dialectic of social concreteness. Therefore, to understand the social practice of historical men and women, it is essential to consider the world of meanings negotiated socially and historically constructed |
| Portuguese abstract | Na presente abordagem, memória social é compreendida como representação do passa - do, ou seja, trata-se de significados construídos socialmente que, pelo viés social, foram arrastados no decorrer da história. Evidentemente, tais representações foram construí - das sob determinadas condições concretas e, como tal, carregam - no decorrer de uma história em curso – componentes ideológicos elaborados em total vinculação dialética à concreticidade das relações sociais.
